Inspiration

I’ve always loved books and wanted to share their messages in a new, creative way. Last year, I started a YouTube channel to bring great stories to life through animation. Animalism, inspired by George Orwell’s Animal Farm, felt especially relevant because its themes of power and manipulation still mirror today’s world.

What it does

Animalism retells Orwell’s story in a modern, visual format. It transforms the classic allegory into an emotional experience, showing how ideals can collapse under greed and control.

How we built it

The film was created using a combination of AI tools. I used MidJourney for text-to-image generation, Kling AI for turning images into motion, and ElevenLabs for voice narration. I wrote the script myself and developed the storyboard, later refining both with help from ChatGPT to improve flow and dialogue. Each scene was carefully composed to balance realism and symbolism while staying true to Orwell’s message.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was keeping a consistent visual and emotional tone across different AI tools. Each platform has its strengths and limits, so blending them into one cohesive story required patience and experimentation.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I’m proud of how Animalism connects literature and technology in a way that feels human and meaningful. Seeing viewers engage with the film and reflect on its message has been the most rewarding part.

What we learned

I learned how to combine different AI tools to build something cinematic, and how much storytelling still depends on emotion, pacing, and clarity, no matter the technology used.

#What’s next for ANIMALISM

I plan to continue adapting classic novels that explore human nature and society, using AI as a creative partner to make these timeless stories accessible to everyone.
