Inspiration
There is a story behind choosing this issue to resolve that is , When I was in my college , I found that a bird (i think it was a crow) was stucked with a thread at an height. I tried to approach it for help but as it was at height so I was unable to do it, and I didn't find any contact person to approach for it. and when I was coming back from the unfortunately I found that the bird was dead. So this incident was deeply rooted in my mind and with this hackathon I found that may be I can do something about this issue.
About "Animal Welfare"
Animal welfare is an innovative platform dedicated to animal care, providing comprehensive services for rescue, adoption and care of animals in need. Our website connects local shelters, foster homes, and volunteers to streamline the process of rescuing and adopting animals.
What it does
• Animal Rescue Services : Facilitates emergency rescues and connects users with local rescue organizations. • Adoption Services : Lists adoptable animals from shelters, enabling potential pet owners to find their perfect match. • Contact Form : We offer contact form with backend connectivity, so that user filled data can save on cloud database • Animal Specialist Service : Offer a search box in which you can enter your city name , and if we provide service in that city then you will get contact details. • Donation For Care: Offer easy to user QR code for donation without any constraint of minimum pay.
How we built it
Animal welfare is a full stack website which is solely designed and developed by me from scratch. Challenges we ran into
I came to know about this hackathon 3 days ago. So the most difficult challenge for me was insufficient time. I was working alone so it was very difficult for me to handle backend development as well as frontend development all together with thinking about unique and user-friendly design.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud of the issue that I have addressed and resolved. It was related to my real life experience that's why it encouraged me to work with intense time deadline without thinking twice. Offering a platform that can save anyone's life is my proud moment.
What we learned
• 1)During the development of website I came to know about "Animal adoption" issue that , some people want to adopt animals but they don't find any platform for it. • 2) Time management for a full stack website that include designing , frontend development , backend development , hosting , video scripting and many more things in just 3 days.
What's next for Animal Welfare
Our goal is to integrate multiple new features in the website in upcoming future. Such as we want dedicated admin panel so that we can add, delete or update our services as well as we can see the user queries directly in our admin panel. This project is scalable because as the awareness among people increases about animal care , animal rescue and more . People will start searching for platform like us to interact with. As the traffic increase in our website , we will start integrating new features in it.

Animal Welfare not only helps find homes for animals but also fosters a culture of compassion and responsibility towards pets, ultimately contributing to a significant reduction in the number of animals in shelters and improving their quality of life.
