Animal Meal

Inspiration

When I was eating pork the other day, I thought about the animal's perspective and wondered how we would feel if the roles were swapped.

What it does

Inspire people to ponder the impact of mass animal farming, and to move forward with more empathy and awareness about the food we eat and how it's sourced.

How we built it

Mapping out the idea, creating the script, then generating appropriate images, videos, and finally editing it with the sounds in Davinci Resolve to get to the final product.

Challenges we ran into

Scoring the music and finding the best sound effects to capture the feeling we wanted.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to capture the mood and convey the message we were looking to address.

What we learned

Having a compelling story/vision/purpose to change the world is powerful, but it is the easy part. The challenging part is bringing it into reality through a sort of medium.

What's next for Animal Meal

Perhaps a sequel or longer form content if others want to collab and make it a movement.
