Inspiration
When Lidiya moved her company to the US, she wanted to study go-to-market and other business topics to best prepare - but Google/YouTube failed her in finding the best content and context to learn these. She decided to build something to fix this.
What it does
It compiles expert advice to help you study complex ideas more deeply and semantically than with traditional search. It works across different mediums, currently including video and audio.
How we built it
Django server, Twelvelabs API to search video and audio, Elevenlabs API to generate audio, ChatGPT API to create transitions, summaries, etc.
Challenges we ran into
Video processing - easiest to use an HLS stream and let Twelvelabs host it than to deal with ffmpeg and storage. Funkiness with HLS streaming. Latency with ChatGPT API.
