Inspiration
With the increase on lockdowns due to the Covid-19 pandemic, domestic violence and mental health crisis have been on the rise. Angel Shot offers a discrete way to get help for those situations.
What it does
A web app with a chat bot that encodes your conversation under the guise of getting drink or food recommendations. If the user recommends drink information (domestic violence), the bot asks if the user likes their drink fruity (needs someone to talk to) or strong (dangerous situation/require immediate help).
If the user wants food recommendations (mental health), the bot asks if the user like mild (needs counseling) or spicy food (in full mental health crisis). An encrypted message of the meanings of each help code can also be found discretely on the page for the user to reference to make sure they are making an appropriate request.
How we built it
We build Angel shot using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Google cloud's: Firebase auth, dialogflow CX and Google maps.
