Inspiration

I was inspired by the ironic fear that AI could replace even the most unexpected jobs. I wanted to show, through humor, how fragile and special human uniqueness really is.

What it does

Ancient Work is a short film where a rocking horse struggles against a shape-shifting AI toy, exploring the clash between tradition, technology, and human identity.

How we built it

Story and visuals with ChatGPT, videos and sound with Kling AI, editing and music with CapCut. 100% AI-powered creation, blending cartoon and realistic styles.

Challenges we ran into

Keeping the right balance between irony and reflection, and merging different AI-generated styles while ensuring narrative coherence.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We built a complete short film entirely with AI tools, delivering both satire and critique while experimenting with a unique visual approach.

What we learned

AI is powerful for creativity, but human storytelling and emotions remain essential to give depth and meaning to the work.

What's next for Ancient works

Submitting to festivals, creating sequels about new AI challenges, and pushing further collaborations in AI-powered filmmaking. The rocking horse can become a character in a cartoon or even a LinkedIn channel to talk about fears related to AI and work
