Inspiration

This project was born from the idea that the loudest pain is often the one no one hears. I wanted to explore the invisible wounds created by childhood pressure, social expectations, and internalized silence. Each scene reflects a different dimension of a fractured identity trying to survive.

What it does

The film visualizes the emotional journey of a person who has learned to remain silent while carrying an overwhelming inner world. It blends psychological horror with poetic imagery to portray self-demand, lost innocence, judgment, and resilience.

How we built it

I used generative AI tools to create each visual fragment, combining Kling AI and Higgsfield for imagery, CapCut for editing, and Suno for sound design. Every scene was crafted to feel like a memory—distorted, symbolic, and emotionally charged.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge was maintaining emotional coherence across surreal visuals. I also had to balance elements with poetic storytelling, ensuring the film remained impactful without relying on graphic content.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I’m proud of creating a short film that communicates psychological depth. Every frame carries a meaning, and the silence itself becomes part of the narrative.

What we learned

I learned how powerful visual metaphors can be when expressing internal struggles. Working with generative tools also taught me how to shape emotion through atmosphere, pacing, and symbolic imagery.

What’s next for Anatomy of Silence: Fragments of a Lost Identity

I plan to expand this concept into a series of shorts exploring different emotional states—grief, identity, transformation, and memory—combining AI filmmaking with psychological storytelling.
