TRADEMARK MATTER PROBLEM A trade mark is a piece of intellectual property. It can be used to promote and identify an owner's goods or services and enables the public to distinguish these goods and services from the goods and services of other traders. If you want to register your trade mark in WIPO, you should conduct a search of the trade mark records in the Trade Marks Registry to find out if there are any marks in the Trade Mark Register which are similar to the one you intend to apply to register. If your mark conflicts with others' marks, your application may not proceed.
