Inspiration
Crime continues to be a major concern for residents in the United States. In 2020, the violent crime rate in the U.S rose to 398.5 cases per 100,000 of the population. This is a social related problem that is closely to other lives.
What it does
It analysis the different crime factors among the crime population among the states mainly from 2017 to 2019.
How we built it
We used python. We divided the work into three part work on it separately and put it all together as a whole.
Challenges we ran into
We had much problems when plotting our graphs and how to put all of the code together.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were proud of the results we gain because it can reflect real life situations. I believe it is meaningful to the society.
What we learned
We are now much more confident with drawing graphs.
What's next for Analysis of crimes in the US
We would like to put in more effort to find more dataset in wider range to better address the situation.
