An Exploration of Water Stress

Inspiration

The inspiration for this project was based on future predictions for water usage globally. According to an article in BBC Future “Water scarcity affects roughly 40% of the world's population and, according to predictions by the United Nations and the World Bank, drought could put up to 700 million people at risk of displacement by 2030”.

What it does

This project explores which regions are suffering the most from water shortages, what may be causing water shortages, and if there are deaths related to water stress. It explores these topics via visualizations and ratio calculations

using python, plotly, pandas, matplotlib, and seaborn

• Exploring other possible reasons/factors in water shortages
