Breast Cancer - Problem today, Memory tomorrow. This app serves as a virtual bridge between suffering and getting cured.

Inspiration

 In 2018, nearly 2 million new breast cancer cases were diagnosed.
 it is estimated that 627,000 women died from breast cancer. 
That is approximately 15% of all cancer deaths among women
 In order to improve breast cancer outcomes and survival, early detection is critical.
So we came up with an idea to make an app with a vision that people could consult a doctor.

What it does

  1. Helps to detect breast cancers symptoms at early stage
  2. A chat place to consult doctors
  3. Information about all your essential diet and exercise
  4. Choice of language for the user for dissolving the language barrier among people worldwide and having a wider reach.

How we built it

 We built it with the help of the following:-
 Flutter , Firebase, Android-Studio, Dart, Adobe After-Effects, Photoshop

Challenges we ran into

There were a number of challenges we faced but the most notable ones were:- 1. Shifting the local language of the app to the preferred choice of the user. 2.Aligning everything according to the aspect ratio of any mobiles. 3.Building a prediction model to find risk of having Breast Cancer.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

All of the above challenges we completed are our notable accomplishments and furthermore :-

  1. Having a steady and running google firebase DBMS for using the chat application.
  2. Making a prediction model for all male, female and others.
  3. Making a presentable video of our application.
  4. Optimization the size of our app to be around 10MB.

What we learned

1.Learned how to make a presentable app with good UI and UX

  1. Learned how this breast cancer is affecting the people worldwide.
  2. Time management.
  3. Team collaboration.

What's next for HealthX

This hackathon helped us have a new vision and outlook towards issues all around the world and therefore there are many things in store for HealthX and Ctrl-Alt-Elite team. We will definitely elevate our HealthX idea and add more features in the recent future and we will also participate in similar hackathons in the future which will tremendously help us grow as a team . Few features that can be added in this App is a working AI model that can compile images of X-rays of patients and detect blob and therefore instantly answer whether a person have breast cancer or not and one more feature that can be added is doctors having direct communication with the patients and schedule appointments.
