Inspiration
The Lockdown boredom inspired me to make something fun.
What it does
This project includes the mobile application development which helps people to ease out by reading various post feeds which includes memes and jokes . They can also add theirs even. There is also a fun quiz.
How we built it
The project is built using Android studio , XML and Java including several APIs, AVD , GUI effects, formats and apk files. Android studio diversified features helped us to modify and edit our application pages and xml files. Xml provides the best featuring effects to beautify the entire pages and to include GUIs like buttons, TextView , EditText , LinearLayouts etc. as per the requirement. Java lets you to perform the desired actions or operations on these GUIs like OnClickListener helps us to click the item on user’s action i.e it listens as soon as an user clicks it. SetBackgroudResource helps us to set the background images of these GUIs and similarly set text allows to set the text in the desired format.
Challenges we ran into
As using android studio involves the overall installation process of JVM , JDK, SDK, editing environment variables for SDK Path and AVD Manager. Problems may arise in SDK installation process and in AVD setup procedure as it includes a vast memory space allocation.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Building this project helped me to know more about android studio its features and GUIs effects . We also got to know more java functions related to the GUIs used we can’t be done in xml file directly.
