AMPERE – Smart Energy Monitoring for Modern Homes has evolved through multiple improvements to become a complete smart energy dashboard solution. In its initial version, we developed a secure login system with proper Customer ID validation and introduced a modern dashboard that displays real-time simulated electricity usage along with appliance-wise consumption such as Fan, AC, Refrigerator, Washing Machine, Lights, and TV. We then enhanced the platform by adding an accurate billing system based on Indian electricity rules, along with a dashboard bill card and integrated UPI payment options including Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, and BHIM, making bill payment simple and fast.
Further updates introduced advanced analytics features like monthly comparison using bar and pie charts, alerts for bill increase or decrease, and a history section to track past electricity usage and trends. To make the system smarter, we implemented prediction features to estimate next month’s bill and added an AI-powered assistant that analyzes energy usage, identifies high-consumption appliances, and provides personalized energy-saving suggestions. We also improved user interaction by adding a calendar-based energy tracking system where users can view daily electricity usage and detailed consumption for each date, along with a supermarket-style detailed bill view that can be downloaded or printed.
Finally, we enhanced the overall user experience by designing a clean sidebar-based interface, adding light and dark mode options, and including essential sections like Help, FAQ, Contact, and Settings. AMPERE continues to grow as a powerful and user-friendly platform aimed at helping users monitor, manage, and reduce their electricity consumption efficiently.
