Inspiration

Since the COVID-19 virus breakout, there has been a worldwide state of emergency that cannot be taken lightly, and the European commission are offering a grant for SMEs and startups to try and find a solution to this pandemic.

What it does

How we built it

Case in Point is developing a mobile application that will work on android and on IOS, where each person can get a confidence factor on how healthy he is staying in dealing with the COVID-19, and how susceptible he/ she is to this virus, given his behavior and given his proximity and how long he has been around people who have already been infected. The assessment of the confidence factor in how susceptible a person is will be calculated based on:

Data that will show how far and how long someone stayed in an area that has people with high probability of being infected or have already been infected
Vitalsignsofindividuals
Machine learning patterns and insights that the tool itself will learn based on anybody who has been infected with the virus or anybody who is considered highly susceptible to the virus, all the patterns and insights will help also in determining the confidence factor.

In addition to this, the app will give recommendations to users on how to improve their safety score in keeping themselves safe and will tell them why their score went up or down from day to day based on their inputs.
