AMIGO

Inspiration

We decide to how about creating our own bot and came up with AMIGO

What it does

Our bot currently has 2 features. 1) Using "$gif", and typing any gif, the bot will send a relevant gif in the chat. 2) Also our bot does sentiment analysis of chat.

How we built it

We built it using Python, Discord Developer tools, Tenor API, and Discord library of python

Challenges we ran into

There were many challenges, first, we had to learn about the DIscord library. Also, accessing APIs was a bit tricky.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud that we made a very decent bot in our very first attempt at it. Next time when we wanna send a gif, no need of searching for it, we can simply type text associated with it.

What we learned

We learned about Time management, and Team management. Also, one of the most important things - PEACE OF MIND. Am error in a single line of code made us scratch our heads, so that too is a very big lesson

What's next for AMIGO

We will add the Toxic chat classifier option to the bot, as nowadays hackathons mean discord. Also, we are planning to use Spotify API and make our both sing as well. Also, using NLP we plan to make a model, which will suggest Spotify playlist according to users' mood.
