About the project
Amigo AI - Expense Manager was inspired by my personal struggle with managing finances on iOS. Manual transaction logging and lack of SMS sync made it challenging to maintain accurate records. I built this app solo to automate and simplify expense tracking, leveraging AI for insightful analysis while keeping privacy at the center. Building Amigo AI involved working with cutting-edge AI tools, iOS frameworks, and learning about secure storage in iCloud. The biggest challenges were ensuring accurate transaction syncing, maintaining user privacy via encryption, and creating a seamless user experience. I learned about secure API integrations (Apple, UPI), effective use of LangChain, LangGraph, Groq, and the nuances of AI-powered financial applications. Today, Amigo AI serves as a fast, private, and intelligent finance companion for iOS users worldwide.
