Inspiration

This film comes from my own experience. There were moments in my life when I felt overwhelmed by expectations, comparison, and the constant rush. I wanted to explore how silence can become a place of healing and a new beginning.

I wanted to express that many of us carry this quiet inner struggle, even when everything looks “fine” from the outside.

What it does

It tells an emotional story of several characters moving through chaos, inner struggle, breakdown, and eventual quiet clarity. The film helps the viewer feel seen and understand that they are not alone in these experiences.

How we built it

Visual scenes were generated using Reve and KLING AI. The wise man character was created with Sora (as an image) and then animated in KLING AI. The music, emotional cues, and sound design were created in ElevenLabs. Voiceover was refined in HeyGen. Final editing was done in VN, and upscaling in Topaz Gigapixel.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge was keeping emotional consistency across different generated characters and scenes, while maintaining a unified cinematic tone. Another challenge was balancing emotional depth without making the film feel heavy.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The film shows a vulnerable and personal emotional journey in a way that feels relatable to others. It combines multiple AI tools into a coherent story with symbolic visual language.

What we learned

I learned that when you create from a real feeling, AI can help express it — not replace it. And that sometimes the answers appear only when you finally slow down.

What's next for Amidst the Noise

I’m just beginning to explore this direction. I want to create more short films that are emotional, reflective, and personal — sometimes philosophical, sometimes purely about feeling. My goal is to use visuals, sound, and pacing to express the inner experiences we don’t always know how to say out loud.

Some stories will speak through narration. Some — only through mood, music, and silence. But all of them will come from a real place.
