Inspiration

Devin automates part of the software engineering work.

We automate the work of sales teams.

There's been great progress in animating faces but nothing is interactive. That's where we come in.

What it does

We create a sales person that has a human face and a Mistral brain.

It will answer any questions your client might have based on your website content.

How we built it

We built this by combining various technologies and APIs to achieve the goal of allowing users to communicate with an AI avatar about a website, powered by Mistral. Our tech stack includes Mistral, OpenAI Whisper, OpenVoice, Heygen, Beautiful Soup, and Framer. These technologies enabled us to build the full end-to-end product which achieves the initial goals we set out, as well as provides a smooth user experience.

Challenges we ran into

For some of these tools, it was our first time using them, and additionally, we were connecting various technical components for which there was limited information about. Therefore, we persevered to ensure that all the different components of our product worked well together, through significant testing and technical focus. As well as this, we had many options for the technologies we could have used, so we had to make educated decisions about which ones to use. Going forward, we would experiment with more tools for speech and avatar generation.

What we learned

We learned a lot about all of the tools and technologies we worked with this weekend. We also learned a good amount about the real problem at hand, when it comes to ensuring that website visitors can be converted into paying customers. Through this weekend, we were able to combine our knowledge and create a solution which not only leverages Mistral extensively, but also solves a real-world problem which we hope to continue tackling after the hackathon.
