Inspiration - needed visual representation of architecture design
What it does - generates mermaid file with architecture flow and vizual png files from the mermaid file
How we built it - custom mcp server with amazonq
Challenges we ran into - most of the challenges were - the trivial - not enough time. The project lacks UI. I was building it alone and the spare time that I could have allow for the project was not enough.
Accomplishments that we're proud of - I am happy that I have completed the project to a point to present it as working but still as a working in progress
What we learned - I have enhanced my knowledge about AI agents and amazonq
What's next for Amazonq CLI agent to generate flowcharts - to build a UI and to refactor the project. Also thinking of creating an AI agent via client and to use the custom mcp server for the tools.
