We started thinking about how Gen Z relates to Amazon Prime. For most people, it’s just about shipping and streaming, but what if it could be more? We were inspired by the rise of fitness communities, mental health awareness, and especially the idea of third spaces—places where people hang out beyond home or school, and feel like they belong.
Gen Z is craving connection in real life, and many don’t find that in bars or big parties. We imagined what it would look like if Prime helped create healthy, social third spaces for young adults across the country.
-What it does Our concept reimagines Amazon Prime as more than a service it becomes a lifestyle club for Gen Z. We call it Prime Club. The idea is to create a network of in-person fitness and wellness events, paired with a community app for Prime members ages 16–25.
Think rooftop yoga, run clubs, mental health talks, smoothie socials, all hosted through a simple app. These events act as modern third spaces; welcoming, wellness-focused, and totally Prime-exclusive.
-How we built it We brainstormed this as a prototype campaign idea, pulling insights from Gen Z wellness reports, fitness trends, and how Amazon currently engages with students.
Mapped out a user journey from seeing a flyer to joining a meetup
Thought through branding, taglines, and rollout plans in cities like Tucson and Austin
It’s not built yet, but we created a clear vision of what this could be—and how it could work at scale.
-Challenges we ran into
Figuring out how to make it feel authentic and not like a corporate wellness push
Balancing inclusivity (anyone can join) with exclusivity (Prime members only)
Designing for both digital convenience and real-life connection
Imagining how Amazon could partner with local gyms, cafés, and universities in a meaningful way
-Accomplishments we’re proud of We transformed a purely digital brand into a potential physical community experience
Created a strong lifestyle angle for Amazon Prime that feels relevant to Gen Z
Grounded the campaign in real user behavior and market trends
Developed a full campaign system, app, events, brand identity, and launch strategy
-What we learned Gen Z wants more from brands than products. they want places to belong
Third spaces don’t have to be physical buildings. they can be experiences
Even a brand as massive as Amazon can feel personal if the community is right
Making something social, healthy, and fun can turn a utility into something unforgettable
-What’s next for Prime Club (hypothetically) This is a pitch deck, but we’d love to see something like this happen!
We imagine testing it in 2–3 Gen Z–dense cities (like Tucson, Austin, or NYC)
Partner with local gyms, smoothie bars, and student orgs to host events
Launch with a campus ambassador program and build buzz through socials
Expand nationally if it gains traction, maybe even globally one day!
