At the beginning we were having a hard time discussing of what our team should create. We wanted to create something that wasn't super complex but also had some use to it. We decided to make a python code that tracks amazons prices. This didn't seem like a super complex project and it was something that our team could do given the time frame. When we first started to make the project we weren't entirely sure where to start. We watched many different videos and weren't sure how to do it. On my team members Rachit's end he didn't find python working well with his machine so he had to fix that. On my end MacOS has a default of python 2.7 so it took a while for me to upgrade it to the latest python 3. We had 2 prototypes the one that Rachit was in the process of making and the one that I was in the process of making. On my end I was using the old scraping way and didn't realize until after a couple of hours of work that Amazon didn't support the old scraping way. I called up Rachit and he said his prototype worked. He then shared his code with me and from there on we had a couple of minor bugs that we were able to fix.
