Amazon price tracker

Inspiration

Wanted to get a good fitness band below Rs.2000. There were none. Decided to send myself a notification when the item I wanted was in my budget.

What it does

Tracks the price of the given item and sends you a notification when it is within your budget.

Challenges we ran into

Amazon is one clever cookie. It keeps detecting my bot.

What we learned

Scraping amazon is really hard. Bezos loves his money.

What's next for Amazon price tracker

Will add proxy rotation and header rotation to keep bot from being blocked.
