Inspiration

As tired and unmotivated college students ourselves, we noticed that it was often difficult to stay positive and focused while studying long hours. We decided to make the Study Motivation Skill to help solve this issue.

What it does

Our Amazon Alexa Study Motivation Skill presents user with over 80 unique motivational compliments to help them stay positive and get back into their studying game.

How we built it

Used Amazon Alexa's API and an AWS hosted lambda function for the backend.

Challenges we ran into

Getting the right invocation of "I need study motivation" to work.
