Inspiration
What it does
A handheld motion‑controlled game that uses an accelerometer to detect tilt and movement. Tilting the controller moves a horizontal bar of light to bounce a ball displayed on the Arduino LED matrix. The accelerometer translates physical motion into directional input, allowing gameplay without buttons. Once the ball bounces 9 times, the game is over and the player hears a celebratory tone on the buzzer. When the player missed the ball – they lose, and the game restarts.
How we built it
Handheld device with IMU that can detect tilt and acceleration and change the LEDs activated on the LED matrix.
Key components: Arduino Uno R4 WiFi Accelerometer module (e.g., MPU6050) OLED or LCD display Push button Passive buzzer Blynk (optional) IMU
- Accelerometer (acceleration)
- Gyroscope (rotation)
