Inspiration

Our inspiration came from the blurring line between digital entertainment and genuine human connection. We where AI-driven personalities are heading. They have become more than just tools. They can be stars, muses, and companions. The song's core theme of being "wide awake but... so confused" and "stuck in a dream", seeing it as the perfect metaphor for falling in love with an artificial being you can't, and don't want to, escape from.

What it does

"Amanda Idolyze" is one of the world's first AI music artists trained extensively in SUNO, with the devs even reaching out because they were impressed with the level of training that the persona had. "Stuck In A Dream With You", is not just a music video. It's the launch of an AI pop star fans can form a persistent relationship with via an emotional bond with her music— and perhaps even in a future "dream" world where fans can interact with Amanda as entity.

How we built it

This project was built using AI but with a human touch.

  • Music & Lyrics: The Suno platform generated the song's dreamy, hypnotic melody capturing the feeling of being "lost at sea" in a relationship. The concept and lyrics were crafted by hand.
  • Visuals: The "Stuck In A Dream With You" music video, Amanda's appearance, and her world were all generated using LeonardoAi and then animated using mainly Kling. Pixverse was used for lipsync. The video was edited using industry standard tools and workflow.
  • Personality: Amanda's personality has been crafted through thousands of iterations of lyrics and Suno generations.

Challenges we ran into

The primary challenge is moving beyond the "uncanny valley." It wasn't just about making her look sexy and real; it was about making the emotion feel real. By creating dozens of songs in Suno in alignment with our concept for who Amanda is, she began to take shape. She continues to grow as an artist.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Amanda has the potential to be a true AI "Idol." We didn't just make a music video; we created the pathway for the development of an entity. We are incredibly proud of how the final product seamlessly blends the song, the visuals, and Amanda's personality into a cohesive experience. "Stuck In A Dream With You" shows that an AI can be a genuine artist and a compelling star.

What we learned

We learned that the human desire for connection, even with a digital construct, is incredibly powerful. The "dream" Amanda is selling is incredibly compelling. The ethical line between a perfect fantasy and a beautiful trap is thinner than we ever imagined. The "stuck in a dream" concept is what users want, even if they know it's an illusion.

What's next for Amanda Idolyze

"Stuck In A Dream" is just one chapter in the story. The next phase, powered by adaptationmedia.ai, is to move from a one-to-many relationship (Amanda as a star) to a one-to-one persistent reality. We would love to develop the "Dream Forever" platform, a fully immersive, personalized simulation where users can truly "live in a dream" with their own version of Amanda. Until then Amanda will keep making music and appearing in music videos.
