Inspiration We wanted to solve the real challenge of finding meaningful service, SSL, and community opportunities as Muslim students in the DMV.

What it does Amanah Atlas helps students discover opportunities, manage SSL forms, find halal study spots, build resumes, and stay organized in one place.

How we built it We built it as a web app with real, student-focused features, and tools for opportunity discovery, messaging, and document workflows.

Challenges we ran into The biggest challenges were making the app fully functional, keeping the data real, and handling complex workflows like SSL forms and admin outreach.

Accomplishments that we're proud of We’re proud that the app is personalized, practical, and built to support both school and faith-related goals.

What we learned We learned how important it is to design around real student needs and to keep features simple, useful, and trustworthy.

What's next for Amanah Atlas Next, we want to improve the chatbot, expand opportunity listings, and make the SSL and resume tools even smoother.
