Inspiration

I’ve always wanted to publish my portfolio online, but the process felt time-consuming and overwhelming. When I discovered BOLT and combined it with AI tools, it sparked a new level of creativity. I realized I could finally bring my personal brand to life—quickly, efficiently, and meaningfully.

What it does

This is a fully functional portfolio resume designed to showcase my skills, projects, and career journey. It’s clean, responsive, and easy to update—serving as both a resume and a digital identity for recruiters and collaborators.

How we built it

I built the portfolio using BOLT as the starting prompt and enhanced it with AI for content generation, layout planning, and structure. The final version was deployed using Vercel, and manual tweaks were made effortlessly thanks to AI assistance.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was getting started. But once I saw what AI could do, everything—from structure to content—became significantly easier. Tuning the design to feel both professional and personal took some thoughtful iteration. Many times the Ai was failing and the code is producing error but fixed it with attempting the fix. It still needs the human assistance in figuring out what is going wrong.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I finally launched my portfolio—something I’d been putting off for years. Doing it during a hackathon with the help of AI made it not only possible but enjoyable. It's my first time building something that feels truly "me" and is live on the web.

What we learned

AI isn't just a productivity tool—it’s a creative partner. I learned how to speed up development, enhance content quality, and most importantly, how to stop waiting and start building.

What's next for Amaan Portfolio - Resume

Next, I plan to add a blog, integrate motion design for interactivity, and experiment with an AI-powered resume builder to help others create portfolios just as easily as I did.
