Inspiration
WE are totally begineer in kubernetes so learned mostly with Techworld with NANA and codecamp. We are working this as our startup and plan soon to take it on next level.
What it does
It's a second-hand book platform where buyer/seller can buy/sell their products like gadgets, notes, books, assignments and even memes and ebooks, blogs where blogs and memes will be free for users in membership plan and other things they have to buy by interacting with buyer.
How we built it
We planned to build it on reactjs but due to lack of time and experience in kubernetes, its working on normal HTML5,Css-Tailwind,Grid,flexbox and javascript with node.js. But unable to deploy it with mongodb and express containers and into building process as there was only channel with complete information i.e. Techworld with NANA and there also in deployment part, we got stucked into running container as we dont have good laptop so it was very challenging to speed up our coding part.
Challenges we ran into
Actually,a lot as i myself am a front-end developer and we didnt had anyonw with backend and no one had any idea about kubernetes so at last we got stucked in using Datree and container of Kubernetes.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Although we failed to deploy our app on time as due to lack of resources and learning experience but we are proud of that we atleast had given our all and tried to make this 2 day hackathon a great memory and inspiration for us.Even though we will lose atlast, but i am happy that we learnt and worked as a team in whatever we had but wished to get atleast one shirt from kubernetes as a memory.
What we learned
Usage of Kubernetes with different containers,Datree, teleport,Deployment of an app using kubernetes and most importantly where we have to work more.
What's next for AM Book Store
We have to work on its bakend and on its businerss model. We even got appreciation from B.Incube for it and they are showing highly interest on us.
