Inspiration
We wanted to simplify student management and help teachers understand student performance easily.
What it does
SMARTEDU manages student details, attendance, academic results, and provides performance analysis to identify students who need improvement.
How we built it
We built SMARTEDU using the MERN stack: React.js for the frontend, Node.js and Express.js for the backend, and MongoDB for data storage.
Challenges we ran into
We faced challenges in maintaining attendance history, updating percentages dynamically, and presenting student performance clearly.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We developed a centralized platform that brings student records, attendance, results, and performance insights together.
What we learned
We learned full-stack development, database management, API integration, and how to design a user-friendly educational platform.
What's next for SMARTEDU
We plan to improve AI-based performance prediction, provide personalized learning suggestions, and add placement analysis features.
