Inspiration

Most of the elderly in this world suffer from Alzheimer's disease. This of course interferes with their activities if the disease recurs. Alzhevision provides a solution to this problem. We know that older people who are away from their families may have the potential for disease relapse, so we designed an app that can reconnect sufferers with their loved ones when their Alzheimer's disease recurs.

What it does

Alzheimer's can see the condition of their heart rate, water, calories, sleep duration, Alzheimer's will get reminder and notifications to do their activities, and the Alzheimer's patient can see their families name, phone number, and address. Also, they can easily call and copy the info then send it to other people.

How we built it

The first thing we did was look for ideas from the problems that Alzheimer's patients have not been paying attention to. Next, we develop the idea by considering some features that may be useful for both patients with Alzheimer's and the Alzheimer's family. The last step, we realize the idea by making a prototype of the Alzhevision application using Figma.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge was to find the features that can be beneficial for both Alzheimer's family member and Alzheimer's patient.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we were able to finished our goal and build a model that can help the Alzheimer's and the society towards its betterment.

What we learned

From completing this project, we learned many things. Starting from finding ideas, communication, team work, time management. We also learned how to solve real world problems in the healthcare sector. We help Alzheimer's patients, especially when their disease recurs with conditions away from home. In the process of working on the project, we learned how to work well in a team and make prototyping of our application ideas using Figma. Last but not least, we learned to provide the core concepts of our application.

What's next for Alzhevision

Simplify the application and making the experience better by adding more engaging features.
