Alzheimer’s Disease affects over 55 million people worldwide, yet early detection remains a huge challenge due to subtle morphological changes in MRI scans. I was inspired to create a solution that combines deep learning and explainable AI to empower clinicians to detect Alzheimer’s earlier, while providing interpretability so that the predictions are trustworthy.
The motivation came from seeing how delayed diagnoses limit effective interventions, and how AI has the potential to assist in scalable, consistent, and objective medical analysis.
