Inspiration

Approximately 5.8 million people in the United States age 65 and older live with Alzheimer's disease. Of those, 80% are 75 years old and older. Out of the approximately 50 million people worldwide with dementia, between 60% and 70% are estimated to have Alzheimer's disease.

What it does

IT Help alzheimer's patient to remember relative and family member, And also help him in his daily tasks.

How we built it

using opencv library and deepface pre-trained model for face verification, Also used tkinter For GUI.

Challenges we ran into

finding an effective face verification algorithm.

handling with opencv library and dealing with audio in python, Also using deepface pre-trained model to do face verification.

What's next for Alzheimer's Assistant

-Using NLP to Devolp talking AI. -Using Deep learning to recognize the important objects that usually got forgot and memorize thier places. -Coopreate with Google Glasses in manufacture.
