Alumni AI is built as a full-stack application combining a robust backend, machine learning pipeline, database integration, and a modern frontend. The backend is powered by Python Flask with REST APIs and routing, while the machine learning layer uses Scikit-learn with TF-IDF vectorization and Logistic Regression to classify alumni data from unstructured text. A MySQL database manages persistent storage of alumni records, connected via Python’s mysql-connector. On the frontend, React.js delivers a clean, interactive user interface with a dark-mode design for better usability. Supporting tools like pandas, regex, and dotenv handle preprocessing, environment management, and serialization. Together, these layers form a production-ready system that extracts, classifies, and visualizes alumni information seamlessly.
