Early-onset Alzheimer’s disease (AD), or EOAD, is the onset of AD before age 65. Known Risk factors of the disease are: presence of APP, PSEN1, or PSEN3 gene mutations, Family history of 1st and 2nd degree relatives. The completed Application was accurate for all model patients. Results proved accuracy. However, only model (made-up) patient were used in the trial. The application may serve as an early detection tool to perhaps prevent or reduce the onset of Alzheimer’s, as treatment options are being researched. The application may also serve a teaching tool to simulate genetic testing.
