Inspiration

As organizations race to adopt emerging technologies, the real challenge isn't just tech adoption — it's helping people adapt. We were inspired by how often change efforts fail due to poor communication, lack of emotional support, or resistance from those affected. We wanted to build an AI assistant that makes change easier — not just to manage, but to live through.

What it does

Change.ai is an AI-powered Change Management Assistant designed to help organizations roll out changes smoothly. It provides:

Tailored communication drafts and strategy recommendations
Real-time feedback loops and sentiment analysis
Scenario simulation for different change models (e.g., ADKAR vs. Lewin)
Employee-facing chatbot to answer FAQs and provide emotional guidance
Archive mining of past campaigns to learn from success/failure

How we built it

We built a modular assistant powered by:

Gemini-based NLP model for content generation
A custom knowledge base containing change management frameworks, case studies, emotional models, and industry best practices
Frontend UI for change managers and a chat interface
Feedback pipeline that updates recommendations based on user input

Challenges we ran into

Structuring a broad and often ambiguous field like “change management” into a coherent, searchable knowledge base
Generating content that is both empathetic and compliant with corporate tone

- Balancing generalization (across orgs) vs. contextualization (per user/team)

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Built a working prototype that generated communications aligned with ADKAR principles and similar change management policies
Created an emotional response recommender using behavioral science data
