Inspiration

As people traveling to other locations besides their homes, they can find nice places to take those quick or long naps. Initially, this was geared towards college students but could be applied to everyone.

What it does

This platform provides a place for providers to add a location that is a napping area. Then users can browse the locations, rate, and actually go nap there.

How we built it

This is build on an AWS instance with Ubuntu. The primary language is Python utilizing the Django framework.

Getting it all working within the timeframe of the hackathon

We are proud of creating something within the short amount of time. Also, I showed others how to utilize python in a web app

What's next for Alt Nap

Having a schedule type functionality for people to come and go. Also, have a more robust rating system.
