Inspiration

Years ago I read and enjoyed the Robert Kirkman comic book series, Invincible. A particularly interesting character was the female Viltrumite villain known as Anissa. Fast forward to modern times, and the TV series has finally introduced the character. Instantly people rush to Wikipedia to find info on her, but only read part of her story. Like beloved villain-turned hero, Vegeta or The Green Ranger, Anissa has a full arc that TV viewers don't know about yet. This is my third AI video showcasing her. This time in a full love story, complete with an original music video.

What it does

Shows the human side of this super villain. That despite the super powers, ageless beauty and killer past, she still has insecurities and still wants to be loved.

How we built it

I used tools like Pixai and ChatGPT to generate the source images. Tools like MediBang and PhotoLayers to edit those images to be ready to animate. I created a reference in Vidu.ai and used that reference to animate and bring her to life. I wrote an original poem in English, then had ChatGPT convert the lyrics into Korean rhymes. I then had Elevenlabs and Suno create a 2nd Gen Kpop boy boy song using said lyrics. Finally, I used CapCut to edit them all together.

Challenges we ran into

Considering how all my AI projects are created 100% on my mobile phone, obvious things like app accessibility, ease of use, processing power, a smaller screen, etc factored into the equation.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I was able to see my vision come to life in the way I wanted.

What we learned

Even with the cost of AI being cheaper than ever, it still cost a lot more than I thought it would to create. The amount of wasted clips was mind-boggling.

What's next for “Already Human (벌써 사람인 걸)”

It's up to you. I hope people enjoy my video and that it gets enough people to smile. If I could make that happen to at least a few people, it will make it all worth it.
