Inspiration

Quant research is a time-consuming and difficult process. We wanted AI agents to collaborate like a real research team while keeping every conclusion traceable.

What it does

Alpha Agents turns investment ideas into evidence-backed quantitative strategies through specialized Analyst, Research, and Validation teams.

How we built it

We built Alpha Agents using the Google Antigravity SDK and Gemini, supported by React, FastAPI, and a Python backtesting engine.

Challenges we ran into

We had to prevent hallucinated results, coordinate multiple agents reliably, and avoid overfitting and look-ahead bias.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We built an end-to-end research workflow where users can trace each conclusion from evidence to strategy to validation.

What we learned

Reliable agent systems need specialized roles, structured handoffs, and a clear separation between AI reasoning and deterministic computation.

What's next for Alpha Agents

We plan to add more data sources, stronger validation, persistent research histories, and broader asset coverage.
