Inspiration
The inspiration for our app is to provide the needful for orphan and old age homes
What it does
Our app provides charities to the alms there are four main use cases in our app first one is charity donation, community posting, Fundraising for emergency and educational support of the orphans, and providing trustworthy donation transactions through verification of the updated databases, We provide a theme called heart reach which makes donors book a slot for the alms visit the can conduct events , educational mentorships, we also provide a map to direct and help the donors to visit their nearby orphanages or old age homes. In our community post it acts like a replication of Instagram which is used to display the changes that the donors made to change one's life
How we built it
Using Figma we have designed our prototype next we are going to build our app using Flutter and python
Challenges we ran into
Defining and refining the app's user flow and navigation structure to ensure it's intuitive and user-friendly.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to help the people under charity and orphanages by donating clothes, shelters, food, etc. And also helping others in several ways makes us feel good and prosperous
What we learned
We learned the importance of user-centered design by creating an app prototype and prioritizing functionality and user experience. Through iterative testing and feedback, we refined the app's interface, making it more intuitive and user-friendly.
What's next for Alms
Next, we plan to move from the prototype phase into full-scale development, focusing on refining the user interface, enhancing functionality, and conducting extensive user testing. Our goal is to create a user-friendly app that addresses specific pain points that users have faced so far. Ultimately, we aim to launch the app, gather user feedback, and iterate for continuous improvement.
