Since the outbreak of COVID-19, global supply chains have virtually broken down… And now manufacturers are adapting their production strategies and products and new innovators are getting involved in solving some of these issues… Companies offering their production facilities for the new situation relevant suppliers and urgently needed products are listed at 100’s of websites, making it cumbersome and almost impossible to maintain business continuity. COVID-19 is making a major shift in value chains and this will require quick adjustments.
Closing the gap between the companies needed in the crisis is a major challenge. Industry Clusters, Associations & Chambers have a lot of responsibility during this crisis, but their time and resources are limited. They usually offer the possibility to publish requests & offers as a list including contact information on their websites. However, the companies have to search these listings which are on various websites, but it takes a lot of manual work of the individual user to find possible suitable searches and bids.
So, we created Allymatch vs. COVID19, a smart digital and trusted platform of verified users to connect companies across the world to avoid supply chain shortage. The AI-based platform can be scaled easily through the innovation clusters, industry associations and chambers to maintain business continuity and save lives by connecting the researchers for the vaccine development & medical supply companies with others who can help to increase the production capacities

With the existing technology and infrastructure of allymatch, companies, research institutes and government organizations can find the required partners with individual search requests without having to manually coordinate matchmaking from the outside or scrolling through an increasing number of entries causing the searchers lose track of the offers.
• With allymatch, profiles and targeted inquiries can be created in just a few minutes by the company or research institute and notified in real time about each new match within minutes
• Allymatch has optimized confidentiality - Profiles and product information cannot be seen by users unless they are matched.
• Specific company name and user details will only be displayed when the match is accepted by both organizations.
• Once the match is accepted by both parties, users can communicate with each other securely with the in-app messaging and more
• When it comes to technology collaborations, typical matchmaking solutions ask for a lot of confidential information in order to find reliable matches. But no company wants to share it blindly and digitally.
• Decision makers also don’t want to spend a lot of time filling out forms. Allymatch can deliver matches in minutes with highly detailed product classifications that are user-friendly, without users having to disclose sensitive information and complete long forms.
• Users can also be matched based upon individual content they share and start a smart call.

A challenging weekend
The allymatch platform is already existing, so we worked on the value proposition in the fight against the Covid-19 and getting the message through during this hackathon. Since we designed and developed the product with passion and know so much about it, it was a challenge with the 2 min. pitch video. This was the first hackathon we joined, and we learned a lot about how to communicate the value proposition of our solution in the context of this hackathon. We are happy about the validation we received from our mentors and overall, it was a great experience to be a part of the EUvsVirus community. There are many people out there willing to help. We appreciate all the support we have received from our mentors and skill mentors. We are proud of our unique technology and product design which seems to be the right fit in the current situation. And we are happy about the validation we received from the industry clusters so far and our mentors during the hackathon. What's next for allymatch vs. Covid-19
To reduce language barriers, automatic translations will be coming along with more language options.
Allymatch team will provide every relevant eco-system with a custom registration page for their verified members and provide them our SaaS access for their own usage with the allymatch technology - subscription free throughout the year 2020.
Global pandemic gives digitalization a boost
Companies worldwide, especially in the production industries take a lot of efforts, spend time and money to find their business partners. They usually travel across the continents, go to conferences, exhibit at international tradeshows etc. to meet potential partners in person.
