Inspiration

Being a student is hard enough as it is. You can trust that the two students behind Alltogether know that feeling well. The uncertainty surrounding grades, the nuances of the college application process, and more, was enough to begin with. Then, COVID-19 came around and added a new level of complication. In response to COVID-19's unprecendented impact on the education and lives of students, Alltogether was to ensure student success and foster community during this pandemic and beyond.

What it does

Alltogether is a forever-growing repository of resources for students from silly advice to meaningful tips like: how to avoid seeing a chiropractor now that you're learning virtually to how to stay connected while six feet apart. Essentially, Alltogether is a one stop shop for anything a student might need at the moment. This includes study methods suited for a distance learning environment and more. Alltogether is specifically catered to the educational circumstances COVID-19 has posed.

How we built it

We built Alltogether with a combination of HTML, CSS, and simple links to aid in providing resources.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into the challenge of finding resources adequate for students. We navigated this by taking a deep look at each resource and finding personal worth in it ourselves before attaching it to Alltogether.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

As a two-person team who has only worked together once before, we are immensely proud of what we have created. This is especially true given the time constraints.

What we learned

We learned the importance of collaboration throughout this process. Where one of us fell short, the other happily aided the other and it made all the difference in the quality of Alltogether and the experience of building it.

What's next for Alltogether

Alltogether hopes to reach students and to continue growing its repository to benefit them.
