Inspiration

We have some family members that were ex-convicts. Due to their struggle, we were able to come up with an idea.

What it does

Our app allows ex-convicts to decrease mental stress by taking care of societal stress such as finding jobs. It also allows them to find a community of people with similar struggles where they can share ideas on how to deal with their mental illness.

How we built it

Through Marvel, we made an app prototype that could be made into a real app in the future.

Challenges we ran into

We had a hard managing our time and creating a whole project for the hackathon in 24 hours.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very proud of our marvel prototype as we learned everything from scratch.

What we learned

We learned how to use marvel and other software to create an app prototype.

What's next for Alleviate - Mental Health App for Ex-Convicts

We are looking to get some funding to release the app!
