Inspiration

As parents of kids with severe nut and sesame allergies, we needed a simple way to track foods, reactions, and share allergy info. Hidden allergens and cross-contamination cause constant worry. Allergy Parents was created to help families manage allergies confidently with AI-guided support.

What it does

Parents log what their child eats and any reactions. Allergy Parents uses AI to remind them to watch for hidden allergens and possible cross-contamination on packaging. It helps focus attention on key risks and lets parents easily share allergy info with caregivers and doctors.

How we build it

We're building a UX focused, super user-friendly app where parents enter meals and symptoms. Instead of automatic label scanning, AI offers smart catch for possible allergens or risks based on logged data. Sharing is secure and simple, connecting parents with caregivers and schools.
