In 1985 Steve Jobs dreamt of a student being able to have Aristotle as their teacher; in 2026 LearnLab is that answer.

Inspired by the ubiquitous Electronic Health Record (EHR); LearnLab seeks to create a persistent Student Learning Record (SLR) of a student's academic journey, allowing for the personalized socratic learning Jobs envisioned to become a reality.

LearnLab is a fictional Build Week demonstration of a persistent learning record with a wide variety of features:

  • Students can see assessment history, Paper 1 and Paper 2 topic mastery, homework, upcoming exams, confidence and explainable revision priorities.
  • Teachers can inspect class patterns, subject-specific gaps, student records and upcoming assessment scope.
  • Parents receive one linked student overview without teacher-only or student-only notes.
  • Upcoming assessments are linked to exact AQA specification points and sub-points.

The dashboard uses deterministic TypeScript calculations over fictional, topic-linked assessment data. A separate Groq-backed dashboard assistant can explain the permitted record after a signed fictional session, while a Custom GPT Action demo provides read-only, key-scoped access to fictional student or teacher data.

This is a fictional demonstration only. It does not use real pupil or school data, and it is not a production school system.
