What it does
GhostBoost is an all-in-one dashboard for Windows PC gaming optimization. It monitors your system in real-time and automatically suggests updates and improvements to boost your gaming performance. With a Halloween theme, it makes optimization fun and scary!
How we built it
We built this using React and JavaScript to create a responsive dashboard. The real-time monitoring system tracks CPU, GPU, RAM, and disk performance. The Halloween-themed UI includes spooky graphics and animations that make system optimization entertaining.
Challenges we ran into
Getting real-time performance data accurate and fast was tricky. We also had to balance the scary Halloween theme with clear, readable interface elements so users could actually see important system information.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We created a working real-time monitoring system that updates instantly. The Halloween theme is fully integrated without sacrificing usability. The dashboard successfully handles multiple system metrics at once.
What we learned
Real-time data monitoring requires careful optimization to avoid slowing down the system itself. User experience design is critical when adding visual themes to technical applications.
What's next for GhostBoost
We plan to add more gaming-specific optimizations, network monitoring, and AI-powered recommendations for the best gaming settings.
