Inspiration

In the current environment when trading using Bitcoin or Ethereum network transaction fees can play a big role in decision making as well as be constantly on our mind. It is even more noticeable when prices and traffic are high. We know that using Solana network that problem goes away. The experience is opposite - quick decisions making, trading without hesitation and minimal effort. My motivation behind the project is to highlight how much user can save money on fees by using Solana network.

What it does

Project compares transaction fees on different networks and highlights how much user would save on fees by switching to solana. It shows instant benefits.

How it is built

Using one of the most popular js frameworks and integrated with web3. Communication with api to retrieve transaction history

Challenges we ran into

Querying transaction history on different networks can be a bit tricky and would cost a lot if using paid service. Making a good scaffolding project can also be time consuming but its worth at the end

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Easy to use interface, clear message to the user and potential growth within existing framework/scaffoldings. Adding more networks and wallets is easy to do. It's also possible to test different ideas and future expansion.

What's next for "Its all about fees"

Ideally allow users to move their funds/tokens from one network to solana and vice versa similar to what wormholebridge.com project does. Keeping user on the website and transition his/her funds with as little steps as possible. Integrate more networks such as Cardano, Polkadot etc
