Inspiration

We wanted to make learning the Quran more personal and engaging using modern AI tools. There wasn’t an easy, interactive way to explore tafsir — so we built one.

What it does

QuranVerse.ai lets users ask a question and receive relevant Quran verses, a simple explanation, and a custom quiz. It uses gamification to make learning consistent and fun.

How we built it

We used the Quran.com API to pull verses and OpenAI to generate explanations and quizzes. The app was built and deployed using GitHub and Lovable.dev.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating the APIs smoothly and formatting the AI outputs clearly was tricky. We also had to simplify complex content while keeping it accurate.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We turned a big idea into a working app in just one weekend. We're proud it has real educational and spiritual value.

What we learned

We learned how to use AI responsibly in faith-based projects. We also learned the power of teamwork, time management, and creative thinking.

What's next for Alim Ai Coders

We plan to add more features like voice search, hadith support, and a mobile app. Our goal is to keep building tools that strengthen Islamic learning with tech.
