Inspiration
We wanted to create a resource to help alleviate food insecurity, food waste, and bring the community of Austin closer together
What it does
Display a map of pinned events and locations around Austin where free food is being given out. There is also a bulletin board page for users to post about events where free food is being given out.
How we built it
Utilized html, javascript, and css to create a friendly UI. We also used an open source link to embed google maps onto the website.
Challenges we ran into
Importing and displaying images on the screen, fixing interface to be more aesthetic, and integrating seamless connections between the map pins and posts

Being able to have an interactive map with posts and pins linked to each other
