Inspiration

We were getting too many Slack messages, lost track of things we had replied to, missed out on, and felt the urgency.

What it does

Listens in on incoming Slack messages, understand them, categorizes them and nudges you for important things.

How we built it

Built a connector for Slack on Hasura and a Postgres instance to store the messages. Then used an open source tool that can fetch data in real time and can call downstream LLMs for classification.

ETL data from Slack.

Did this without agents or LLM frameworks.

What we learned

AI should just work. You can make AI+Data apps very easily.
