Inspiration: I'm taking the inspiration from Cool the globe.

What it does: Algofast is an AI-powered product suite that helps organizations measure, manage, and reduce their environmental impact — across climate, energy, waste, and sustainability.

How we built it: we build this with the help of openwork and open code.

Challenges we ran into: we go from a challenge to just training the specific agents and providing them their specific rules and creating special skills for the agents themselves.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: 1. Built a Full-Stack Product From Scratch in Hours

Started with an empty workspace and ended with a complete, running web application — Express server, 9 EJS views, chat interface, auth layer, API backend, SVG icons, responsive CSS — all built from zero. No template, no boilerplate, no starter kit.

1. 9 Deeply Specialized AI Agents — Not Generic Chatbots Each agent has a unique identity, personality, and domain expertise:

🌱 Product Manager who thinks in planetary outcomes 🌡️ Climate Scientist who quotes confidence intervals ☀️ Energy Engineer who models LCOE in their sleep ♻️ Circular Economy specialist who lives the waste hierarchy 🌿 Frontend developer obsessed with sub-500KB page weight 🏗️ Backend architect who demands data provenance 🚀 DevOps engineer who measures gCO₂ per request 📢 Marketing lead who greenwash-checks every sentence Each one sounds like a real specialist, not a generic LLM with a renamed label.

What we learned: I learned by this: AI can actually help us with these types of things, like in sustainable development, waste management, and recycling, and in all these fields.

What's next for Algofest: For the next step for this Algofast is to train more on sustainable development and give them access to some premium reports where they can learn something. Also, build it so that everyone can use it to build their own sustainable plan and sustainable life with that. If someone is just getting some issues related to sustainable development, they will come to us at Algofast.
